Learner Information

Pre-Course Information

In order for us to deliver an excellent level of training we need to know in advance a little more about the learners who will be attending.  This will enable us to accommodate all learners wanting to take part on any of our training courses.  Helpful information would be:

  • Language – Is an interpretor needed?
  • Accessibility – Are any learners wheelchair users?
  • Literacy – Will any learner require help with reading & writing?
  • Sight & Hearing – We can make appropriate accommodations for those learners who are vision or hearing impaired.

NFQ 

Qualifications matter. So whether you’re at school or college, thinking of returning to learning, applying for a job, or considering taking your education and training to the next stage, it’s now easier for everyone – learners, employers, providers and advisors – to understand the national qualifications system.

The National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) provides a way to compare qualifications, and to ensure that they are quality assured and recognised at home and abroad. If you are completing a QQI accredited training course with Safety Solutions you can see on the NFQ Framework wheel below where your training fits.

 

 

Appeals Process for ALL Learners 

It is Safety Solutions Policy that learners who attend training courses delivered by Safety Solutions are given the opportunity to appeal the results of any qualification and/or award.

Why would learners appeal?

The appeals Process enables learners to appeal:

  1. The assessment process if they perceive any irregularities/inequality in implementation.
  2. The assessment results.

When can learners appeal?

Within 10 working days of receiving their result.

How can learners appeal?

By contacting our Training Department by email→ Appeal Result or by post to Safety Solutions, 2 Lyncon Court, Snugborough Business & Technology Park, Blanchardstown, Dublin, D15 FP20

Learners have the right to contact the awarding body at any time if they are dissatisfied with the way in which their appeal is being handled by Safety Solutions.
