Outline

Abrasive Wheels Training is required under The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2016 (Abrasive Wheels) This relates specifically to any persons selecting and mounting abrasive wheels on equipment such as Angle Grinders, Con- Saws, Bench Grinders and Road Saws. The training is also relevant to any persons using this equipment. 

Aims 

The aim of this training to is to provide candidates with the required knowledge and practical skills to be able to carry out abrasive wheel operations including selection and mounting of Abrasive Wheels. This training fulfils the training requirements of The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2016 (Abrasive Wheels)

Who should attend/Pre-Requisites  

This course is aimed at persons involved in the selection and mounting of Abrasive Wheels this includes Angle Grinders, Con- Saws, Bench Grinders and Road Saws.
