COVID-19 Response Manager/Lead Worker Representative Training (Education Sector)

All education facilities will require a COVID-19 Response Manager/Lead Worker Representative. This person will need to be trained. This is different to the COVID-19 Induction that all  workers will have to complete before resuming work.

Recent guidance has been issued by the Department of Education and Skills relating to the reopening of schools at primary and post primary levels.

The guidance emphasises the need for completing a COVID 19 Response Plan as well as having a Lead Worker Representative as well as a Deputy Lead Worker Representative and Assistant Lead Worker Representative.

This training course incorporates training for these roles and for persons responsible for putting the plans in place.

By the end of the course you should have a greater understanding of COVID-19 and its symptoms; How the virus is transmitted and how to prevent it;  The roles and duties of COVID-19 Response Manager/Lead Worker Representative.  The COVID-19 Management Plan  Checklist.

One of the modules on this course deals with the compilation of COVID-19 Response Plans and includes a template which attendees can use for implementation in their own schools and centres.
