Outline

Employers are required to ensure that there is effective consultation with their employees in relation to Health and Safety. 

The presence of Safety Representatives in the workplace is a key element of compliance with this requirement. 

Safety Representatives can effectively represent employees on matters of Health and Safety as well as contributing positively to the overall Health and Safety structure within an organisation or company. 

Aims 

To ensure that attendees can effectively and competently fulfil the role of Safety Representatives as defined in applicable legislation and guidance. 

Who should attend/Pre-Requisites  

This course is aimed at elected or selected Safety Representatives within the workplace. 

The course is applicable to both new and existing Safety Representatives across all industries and sectors. 

There are no pre- requisites.
