Outline

Manual Handling activities account for the most commonly reported injuries to the HSA. 

Aims 

The aim of this training to is to provide candidates with the required knowledge and practical skills to be able to carry out various manual handling tasks effectively and safely and to carry out their own dynamic risk assessments. 

Who should attend/Pre-Requisites  

This course is aimed at persons engaged in manual handling activities across all sectors.

Attendees should have a basic level of fitness, note there is a practical element to this training whereby attendees will be required to participate in various manual handling related activities. 

Attendees should advise in advance of the course if there are any reasons affecting their ability to participate.
