Outline 

MEWP’s (Mobile elevating work platforms) include scissors and boom lifts and provide a wide variety of access solutions. Due to the nature of potential hazards involved with these machines, all operators need to be assessed formally as to their competence in operating the equipment. 

Aims 

The aim of this training is to ensure that attendees have the skills and knowledge to safely and competently operate MEWP’s, this to include both scissors and boom type machines. (types 3a and 3b) 

Who should attend/Pre-Requisites  

Candidates over 18 years of age with a minimum of 6 months experience in operations of both types of MEWP.
