Description
It is a requirement of certification as IHF Heartsaver or Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor that recertification takes place every two years and is carried out by an IHF Training Centre. This recertification has been designed specifically to assess and evaluate the competence of Heartsaver and BLS Instructors
Candidates: Current IHF Heartsaver and BLS Instructors
Prerequisites: Hold a IHF Heartsaver or BLS Instructor certificate, have delivered at least 4 Heartsaver or BLS courses over previous 24 months
Award: IHF Certification
Assessment: Simulated classroom where instructors deliver part of Heartsaver or BLS course
